The body of this console is created in highly figured macassar ebony wood hand finished in high gloss lacquer further emphasized and adorned with a Venetian black glass panel with silvered engravings worked by hand depicting a naturalistic (fauna and flora) scene.

Below the table top is a bold and bevelled black glass dentil surround .

The highly stylised and highly specified decorative legs are created in Italian Murano glass cut glass crystal.
